The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill pasture, on blanket bog on an E-facing slope. A horseshoe-shaped mound (8.5m N-S; 4.8m E-W; H 0.7m) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil. The opening (Wth 1.15m) faces E. The mound is surrounded by blanket bog, partially covered by rushes.
