The National Monuments Service's description
In centre of graveyard (115-045001-) heavily overgrown ruins of church built by Board of First Fruits in 1812, replaced by new church in Castletownbear in 1841 (Brady 1863, Vol. 2, 508). Only overgrown E gable and short section of N wall stand. Described as "a small, neat edifice, with a low square tower" in 1837 (Lewis 1837, Vol. 2, 48). On site of medieval parish church.
