The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill pasture, on the W edge of a terrace on the W-facing stony slopes of Miskish Mountain and within a network of relict field boundaries (CO114-084011-). The remains of an oval hut site (3m N-S; 1.5m E-W) defined by the jumbled lower courses of a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.4m) which consist mainly of larger stones. The level interior, which is obscured by rubble, is raised (H 0.3m) at the W and cut (D 0.35m) into the upslope at the E to compensate for the hillslope. A relict wall of the network of field boundaries abuts the hut site at the SW. Another hut site (CO114-084003-) is c. 12m to the S.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
