The National Monuments Service's description
In rough grazing, with occasional surface boulders, on a terrace on a NW-facing hillslope. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 6m) defined by a stone wall (T 1m; H 0.4m) which consists of an inner and an outer row of contiguous slabs with a sod-covered infill of smaller stones. The level interior is raised (H 0.3m) at the NW and cut (D 0.2m) into the upslope at the SE to compensate for the hillslope. Another hut site (CO106-067005-) is c. 25m to the NE.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
