The National Monuments Service's description

In rough grazing, with occasional surface boulders, on a break on a NW-facing hillslope with views across a valley to Mullaghmesha. A circular area (diam. 9m) is defined by a partially sod-covered collapsed drystone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.55m). The level interior, in pasture, is raised (H 0.3m) at NW and cut into the upslope (D 0.5m) at SE to compensate for the hillslope. There is a hut site (CO106-067003-) c. 25m to the NNE and another (CO106-067005-) c. 35m to the S.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
