The National Monuments Service's description
In rough gorse-covered pasture, on the foot of a S-facing rocky mountain slope. The remains of an oval hut site (3.5m N-S; 2.7m E-W) are cut (D 1.1m) into the upslope W-E where it is faced by a stone wall (T 0.6m H 0.7m). Elsewhere the level interior is raised (H 0.4m) but the enclosing element E-W is gone. There is a fulacht fia (CO103-027003-) c. 65m to the E and another hut site (CO103-027001-) is c. 60m to the W.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
