The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill pasture, on a S-facing slope in a sheltered hollow. The remains of a D-shaped hut site (2.7m E-W) defined by a collapsed, curving, drystone wall (T 0.6m H 0.4m) with a straight W side (L 2m). The lower courses of the wall protrude above the peaty soil. Some stones are set radially and are either upright or leaning against each other. Another hut site (CO102-043002-) is 2m to the E.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
