The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, on a terrace sheltered by rising ground to S and by outcropping rock to the N, high up on the N-facing slopes of Tooreennamna Mountain. A roughly oval area (7m E-W; 4.7m N-S) is defined by the remains of a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.35m) at E, S and W and by outcropping rock at N. A hut site (CO102-041001-) abuts this enclosure at W.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
