The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, on the lower N-facing slopes of Tooreennamna Mountain. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 5.4m N-S) defined by an arc of a partially gorse-covered, collapsed, drystone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.4m) NW-SW with no visible trace of the wall SW-NW. The base stones of the wall protrude from the peaty soil. The level interior is raised (H 0.3m) at the N and cut (D 0.2m) into the upslope at the S to compensate for the hillslope. There are traces of relict walls from the network of field boundaries (CO102-041015-) in the surrounding area. A cairn (CO102-041011-) is c. 80m to the NW.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
