The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill pasture, on the lower N-facing slopes of Tooreennamna Mountain. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 7.2m N-S) defined by a partially grass-covered stone wall (T 0.8m; H 0.2m) SE-NE. The entrance may have been located NE-SE where there is no enclosing element visible. The hut site is raised (H 0.2m) at the N and cut (D 0.2m) into the upslope at the S, creating a level interior. There are traces of relict walls from the network of field boundaries (CO102-041015-) in the surrounding area. Another hut site (CO102-041009-) is c. 30m to the NW.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
