The National Monuments Service's description
In a pasture field, on the lower N-facing slopes of Tooreennamna Mountain. The remains of a hut site (c. 4.2m E-W; 3.9m N-S) defined by an arc of a collapsed wall (T 0.6m; H 0.6m) E-NW which consists of large stones. Some stones may have been moved to the field fence to the N. The hut site is partially obscured by gorse and bushes. When initially recorded in 1997, the hut site was more intact and measured 5m in diameter. It was then defined by well-set large slabs along the E, S and W arcs and by a mound of earth and stone on the N arc. There is a standing stone (CO102-040001-), a boulder-burial (CO102-040002-) and a burnt mound (CO102-040004-) located c. 100m to the WSW.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
