The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope, c. 80m N of coastline. Circular area (30.2m E-W) enclosed by two earthen banks with intervening fosse. Inner bank (int. H 1.8m) stone faced in parts; outer bank (H 0.95m) levelled for short section to WNW and SE. Gap (Wth 4m) in inner bank to E. Interior slopes down to E. Quarry short distance to S of enclosure.
