The National Monuments Service's description
On high ground, overlooking Sall river valley to S. Roughly circular area (44.7m N-S; 41m E-W) enclosed by two earthen banks with intervening fosse. Banks stone-faced in parts; inner bank (H 1.1m); outer bank (H 0.6m) incorporated into field fence system to N. Gaps, with causeway to NNE (Wth 8m), stone-faced on S side; to SSE (Wth 4m); to SW (Wth 5m).
