The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, levelled ringfort (CO095-026---) to SE and standing stone (CO095-024---) to NW. Flat-topped rectangular stone with natural groove to one side; according to local tradition, water collected in groove cured warts.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
