The National Monuments Service's description
This fulacht fia was reported to the Archaeological Survey of Ireland by Tony Miller on the 10th of December 2014. He describes it as follows: "Horse shaped mound, partially levelled, in NW corner of a large reclaimed field of pasture, next to a stream. It is about 20m north of site one [CO093-108----] and adjacent to the same open drainage ditch. The mound has its open side facing the drain c. 3m to the west. Its total size is c. 10m N-S, 6m E-W, 0.5m in height with the opening of the trough c. 3m in width. It is under the spreading branches of an old oak tree.''
