The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture, c. 10m E of a stream. A low grass-covered horseshoe-shaped mound (c. 20m E-W; c. 14m N-S; H 0.8m) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil with a W-facing opening (Wth 4m). Patches of burnt material are exposed on the SW side and on the E arm of the mound.
