The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, on a bog-covered terrace on a W-facing slope, in the valley of the Cooleenlemane River. The remains of a circular hut site (3.5m E-W; 3.2m N-S) defined by a moss-covered stone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.5m) which protrudes above the surface of the bog. Rubble is scattered in the level interior where it is obscured by rushes. An upright slab (H 0.9m) is set at right angles to the line of the wall at the E and may have formed one side of the entrance. A hut site (CO091-018002-) is c. 40m to the E and an enclosure (CO091-018004-) is c. 70m to the WSW.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
