The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on N-facing slope. Depicted on 1842 OS 6-inch map as circular enclosure bisected on N-S axis by roadway; bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.2m) survives on W side of roadway as depicted on 1934 OS 6-inch map (c. 40m N-S); shallow external fosse to N; drain outside bank to S and W. Interior raised to N to compensate for slope. No visible surface trace of bank on E side of roadway.
