The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture. Circular area (diam. 32.5m) defined by earthen bank (int. H 1.55m) with external fosse (D 0.55m). Entrance to SW. According to Hartnett (1939, 260) 'there were originally two ramparts enclosing the fort, but the outer one was levelled about 30 years ago. A section of it still remains to the west'. No visible surface trace of outer rampart. Possible souterrain (9123) in interior.
