The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on a slight S-facing slope. A spread of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil was noted here in 1998 when the field was ploughed (pers. comm. Donal O'Flynn). This spread was not visible in 2000 when the field was under pasture.
