The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, atop hill and 5.5m S of boulder burial (CO083-059001-). Three boulders, two of quartzite, the other sandstone: Stone A (H 0.8m; 1.2m x 0.84m) lies immediately to W of stone B (H 0.55m; 1.4m x 0.98m); Stone C (H 0.35m; 0.61m x 0.51m) lies 1m to S of B. A simple Latin cross is inscribed on the upper surface of stone C.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
