The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on level ground atop hill, just W of highest point. Circular raised area (44m N-S; 44m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 2.4m); external fosse (max. D 2.4m); counterscarp bank (max. H 1.3m) E->SW. Ground inside bank littered with stones, possibly remains of stone facing. Causewayed entrance (Wth 3.5m) to SSE; three large stones form facing at Nside of entrance, with large slab (L 2m; 0.5m x 0.3m) in entrance break parallel to facing. Other slabs just outside entrance at either side of causeway. Counterscarp bank decreases in height as it extends away from entrance to N and S. Remains of cultivation ridges cross interior on NNE-SSW axis; souterrain (CO082-050002-) in NW quadrant.
