At N end of graveyard (CO076-04202-), ruined rectangular church (26.5m E-W; 9m N-S), ivy-clad and overgrown. Parish church of Ballynacorra; inscribed headstones inside church date from 1812 (Henchion 1990). W gable stands to full height but otherwise walls in poor structural condition; SE corner collapsed; buttress against outside of N wall at E end. Doorway near W endS wall; E jamb stones survive with deep outer chamfer. Other opes in S wall either blocked or poorly preserved, including at least one inserted doorway. Central two-light ogee-headed window in E gable; missing central mullion. Single-light ogee-headed window near E end of N wall; to W larger window ope, probably later insertion, light and upper half gone. High attic window, with rectangular light and lintelled embrasure, on W gable. Late medieval church showing evidence of repairs; in ruins by 1615 but may have been repaired before new C of I church for united parishes built in Midleton town c. 1690 (CO076-06302-) (Brady 1863, vol. 2, 107-9).
