The National Monuments Service's description
One of 15 ogham stones found in a souterrain (CO055-007003-) in a ringfort (CO055-007001-) at Ballyknock North, Co Cork (see CO055-007005-) and currently on permanent display in the Stone Corridor, University College Cork. Recorded as a slate stone (H 2ft 8in; 1ft 8in x 6in), broken from the upper end of larger stone. The inscription was chiselled on the dexter edge and top of the stone. Macalister's final reading (1945, 86, no. 83) is LAMADILICCI MAC MAIC BROCC. McManus (2004, 18, no. 14.) could only be certain of L[A]MaDULICCi MAC[]CBROC but this pre-dates conservation work on the collection in 2009. An inspection of the stone in 2016 confirmed Macalister's reading with MAC MAIC. (Power et al. 1994, no. 4215)
