The National Monuments Service's description
This is the present location of one of six ogham stones found in a souterrain (CO072-078002-) in a ringfort (CO072-078001-) at Knockshanawee, Co Cork (see CO072-078006-). This stone (3.1m; 0.4m x 0.3m) was the third lintel. The inscription was given by Power (1932, 23-4, no. 27) as CUBBRIGAI MAQIMENU MAQ[........], and by Macalister (1945, 114, no. 115) and McManus (2004, 15, no. 2) as CULRIGAI MAQI MENUMAQ[I]. (Power et al. 1997, no. 7972)
