The National Monuments Service's description
This is the present location of the ogham stone (CO084-090003-) found in a ringfort (CO084-090001-) in Garranes, Co Cork and thought to have come from the souterrain (CO084-090002-) discovered later. According to Macalister (1945, 83, no. 81), it measures '5'9" x 1'7" x 0'7"' and reads: C[A]SSITT[A]S MAQI MUCOI CALLITI. McManus (2004, 15, no. 4) is generally in agreement but notes that the first name could end in -AS or -OS. (Power et al. 1992, no. 1037)
