Early 19th century 2-storey rectangular house with 'Gothick' detail, named Bellview Cottage on 1842 OS 6-inch map. View front (S) of 5 bays; 2 large windows at ground floor level, mullioned with perpendicular-style wooden tracery. First floor windows round-headed sash with switch-line tracery at window head, set into rectangular ope; wooden spandrels have pierced foliage motif. All windows have plaster hood mouldings with foliated stops. Entrance (S-facing) in 1-storey castellated extension to W. Pointed doorway within wooden frame; Fanlight has switch-line tracery; door panelled with 'perpendicular' tracery. House 2 bays deep. Roof hipped with projecting eaves, two off-centre chimneys.
