The National Monuments Service's description

In tillage; site now obscured by dumped field-fence material. Described by Hartnett (1939, 93) as 'raised platform, 4 feet high and of oblong plan 45 by 28 feet'. According to OS Name Books 'had been the parish church of Aghinagh' (PJH). No visible surface trace of burial ground (CO071-040001-) shownon 1842 OS 6-inch map immediately S of church; no trace either of bullaun stone (CO071-040003-) marked on OS 6-inch map.
