The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on a S-facing slope, overlooking a stream valley to S. According to local information, a 'fort' once existed at this location and although regular ploughing had scattered the stones, in the past there was a greater concentration of stones in this area. This is probably the 'lios of moderate size, now levelled' recorded by Power (1917, 21) in this townland.
