In level pasture, road 50m to NW; sub-circular area (c. 45m ENE-WSW; c. 50m NNW-SSE) slightly raised above surrounding land and defined by stone-faced vertical edge (H 1m); to E truncated by N-S field fence. Interior densely overgrown with rhododendrons, access not gained. According to Power (1917, 17), contains ruins of 'seana teampuilín' (church marked on all eds OS 6-inch map) (CO064-033002-); he notes that 'the foundations of the building are fairly traceable....some forty-eight feet by twenty-one feet internally' (ibid., 18). According to local information, lower courses of church wall still survive and no gravemarkers visible.
