The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture. Levelled; circular, saucer-shaped area (diam. 35m) defined by undulation (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.4m). Centre of interior waterlogged. Hartnett (1939, 227) noted one third of rampart remaining to N, '6 feet in height at the outside and ... 3 feet inside'; coins said to be "Roman" found here during levelling of site.
