The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture. Circular area (diam. 30.3m) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2.5m). Bank highest to S. Roadway and laneway skirt enclosure to N and W respectively. Interior partially overgrown with ferns; formerly planted with trees (Hartnett 1939, 227). Ancient (church?) bell found here (O'Sullivan 1955).
