The National Monuments Service's description

On W side of road, c. 450m NE of early ecclesiastical enclosure (9199). Well enclosed by roughly circular stone-built structure with small opening facing E. Votive offerings around well. Rounds made here and at St Olan's cap (9247) on St Olan's day (Sept. 5th).
