The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, below crest of ridge, on S-facing slope. Circular area (46m NW-SE) defined by earthen bank (ext. H 2.4m), with external fosse (D 0.8m). Bank stone-faced internally to height of 1m; flat-topped with slight lip along outer edge. Entrance (Wth 6m) to ESE with causeway; terminals of bank flanking entrance higher than elsewhere. Fosse waterlogged on E side. Interior heavily overgrown; townland boundary fence bisects entrance and interior on WNW-ESE axis.
