The National Monuments Service's description

Bordered by road to S and W; trapezoidal graveyard (c. 50m E-W; c. 35m N-S); in S half ruins of C of I church (CO056-00102-) on or near site of ancient parish church of Ardagh. In occasional use; large collection of headstones, the earliest dating from 1788 (Coleman 1913-16f).
