The National Monuments Service's description

Roadside, built into W-facing slope. Front (H c. 10m) W-facing; arched recess (H 2m; Wth 2.15m; D 2.6m) with cut stone voussoirs, sloping slabs to rear. Stone-lined funnel (diam. 2m). Rear enclosed by wall. Top of kiln overgrown.
