The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture on gentle NE-facing slope. 'Garryduff II'. One of two adjacent ringforts (including CO055-002----, Garryduff I) excavated by M.J. O'Kelly (1963). Circular area (95ft N-S; 115ft E-W) enclosed by rubble bank (H 11ft 6in); rock-cut fosse (excavated D 8ft); recent fence along outer edge fosse. Entrance (Wth 16ft) with causeway to E. Excavation showed internal stone-facing on bank, external around entrance. Entrance partially closedby timber palisade. Interior archaeologically sterile.
