The National Monuments Service's description
At S edge of graveyard (CO054-031002-), ruins of rectangular church (c. 18.5m E-W; c. 4.5m N-S) reduced to near foundation level, except at NW corner where section of wall stands c. 2.5m high. Church has been extended to E; clear break in construction c. 5m from E end in line with foundations of partition wall. Parish church of Dysert, in ruins by 1615 (Brady 1863, vol. 2, 221).
