The National Monuments Service's description
A 'truncated' fulacht fia was discovered during archaeological monitoring of an area to be used as a permanent topsoil tip adjacent to the N8 Rathcormac-Fermoy Bypass. It was located on a hillslope, c. 120m N of a tributary of the River Bride and it remains in situ. Two other fulachtaí fia (CO044-103----, CO044-104----) lie c. 110m to the S and c. 170m to the SSW, respectively. (Dunne 2007a, 55-6, no. 256)
