The National Monuments Service's description
A 'disturbed' fulacht fia was discovered during archaeological monitoring of an area to be used as a permanent topsoil tip adjacent to the N8 Rathcormac-Fermoy Bypass. It was located at the base of a hill, c. 25m N of a tributary of the River Bride and it remains in situ. Two other fulachtaí fia (CO044-104----, CO044-105----) lie c. 70m to the SW and c. 110m to the N, respectively. (Dunne 2007a, 55-6, no. 256)
