The National Monuments Service's description
On the gentle E-facing slope of a low hill. This is one of two possible structures (see CO044-073005-) that were partially excavated in 2003 in advance of the construction of the N8 Rathcormac-Fermoy Bypass. The possible structure, which was identified by a series of post-holes and an area of fine cobbling, was discovered within the interior of a Bronze Age enclosure (CO044-073003-). As it lay largely outside the excavated area, it was not possible to determine its full extent or its function. (Cotter 2006a, 34-5; 2006c)
