The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, atop hillock, on high ground to W of Clyda River. Circular area (41m E-W; 39.5m N-S) defined by earthen bank (H 1.7m) NE->S; scarp (H 1m) elsewhere. Shallow external fosse survives S->NE. Surviving bank incorporated into field fence system; stone-faced internally. According tolocal information, hollows in interior caused by people digging for treasure. Centre appears to be higher than remainder of interior. Quernstone fragment noted in cairn of stones dumped a short distance outside enclosure to W.
