In marshy ground. Rectangular area (40.3m N-S; 28.5m E-W) defined byearthen bank (int. H 0.85m) to NE, E and S; shallow external fosse (D0.2m), most clearly defined to S due to waterlogging. Faint trace of outerbank (H 0.3m), incorporated into stone-faced earthen field fence (H 0.7m)to E. Interior surface poorly drained and poached by cattle; E half higherthan W half.
