The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on SW-facing slope. Circular area (38m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (max. int. H 1.8m; ext. H 0.8m) S->SE; slight scarp elsewhere; external fosse (max. D 1.2m) SSW->NNW and NE->ESE. Fosse survives best to E where skirted by field boundary; shallow SSW->NNW and waterlogged to NW; infilled recently to N with silage pit and shed built immediately beyond. Interior planted with coniferous trees. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 571) as double-ramparted fort (diam. 35yd) in Mrs. O'Connor's land with half of outer rampart and about 12yd of inner rampart levelled. Field boundary shown skirting fosse N->ESE on 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps.
