The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope. Circular area (45.5m N-S; 43.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.4m; ext. H 1.65m); external fosse (D 0.15m) NNE->SE. Bank stone-faced internally, partially hidden due to slippage and overgrowth. Entrance (Wth 3m) to SSE; modern gap (Wth 2m) in bank to NNE. Fosse survives as slight slope down to base of bank. Interior slopes down very gently to S; souterrain (CO041-11802-) in N quadrant; low ridge (L 26m N-S; Wth 5m E-W) extends from c. 10m S of N bank through centre towards entrance to SSE.
