The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on break in NE-facing slope overlooking Glen River. According to Bowman (1934, 248), 'residents say that a burial ground was formerly [on this site]. He (ibid.) noted two stones 'c. 1ft 6ins by 9ins by 5ins...7ft 3ins apart; orientation E and W'. One stone survives (H 1.45m; 0.33m x 0.12m); narrow, well shaped, coming to point on top, long axis NW-SE. Low ledge of stones surrounds base (H 0.14m; 0.65m x 0.45m). Otherwise no visible surface trace of burial ground.
