The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, just off top of ridge. Circular area (52m N-S; 52m E-W) enclosed by two earthen banks with intervening fosse. Inner bank (int. H1.9m) uniform in height and overgrown with ferns and several small trees. Outer bank (H 0.9m) substantial from N->NE; disturbed from NE->S; survives as low lip (H 0.2m) S->NW and as low bank (H 1m) NW->N. Causewayed entrance (Wth 4m) to NE. Interior under pasture; possible souterrain (9016) offcentre to W. Limekiln at outer edge of enclosure to SW marked on 1842 OS 6-inch map.
