The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture, above floodplain of Rathcool River. Circular, slightly raised area (31m N-S; 29.5m E-W) defined by earthen bank (H 1.8) with shallow external fosse. Gap (Wth 2.3m) in bank to ENE. Vegetables previously grown in interior; now grass-covered.
