The National Monuments Service's description

On high level pasture, c. 12m to S of second ring-barrow (7869). Circular area (9m N-S; 8.5m E-W) enclosed by shallow fosse (D 0.3m; Wth 3m) with outer earthen bank (H 0.55m). Causewayed entrance (Wth 2m) to SSW. Interiorlevel. Site planted with coniferous trees.
