The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on break in NW-facing slope. Roughly circular area (34m NNE-SSW) enclosed by worn earthen bank (H 1.2m) E->N; farm building to NE; external fosse (D 0.6m) ESE->WSW. Bank stone-faced in parts and heavily overgrown; gaps to NNE and SW due to cattle-track crossing interior. To S drain runs from interior, through gap in bank, into fosse and flows downslope to NW. Interior planted with conifers on NW side; earth and debris piled high on SE side. Possible souterrain (CO039-08102-) in interior.
